On the weekend of the 14-26th March, 11 young adults came together with 5 ignatian Leaders to introduce them to the ideas and experience of silence, Contemplation in the context of the Ignatian spiritual exercises. The retreat was a resounding success with many of the attendees commenting on the depth achieved in the short time together, the joy of both the silence and the reflection and sharing times as well as the wonderful camaraderie among the group. The food was also delicious! The location in the hills of Mundaring lent itself to ease of transport as well as being in a wonderful bush setting. A huge thanks to Fr Ramesh Richards SJ who came across from Sydney to help run the retreat.
