Would you like to go on retreat but don’t have the time or the finances? Then this retreat is for you!!

For the months of May and June 2023 we welcome Fr Tony from USA who will be offering a First Spiritual Exercises Retreat in Daily Life. This will run for 2 hours over five Tuesday evenings plus the opportunity for a one off Ignatian Prayer Experience on two occasions. (See ISWA website for more details of this event)

The commitment for the retreat is to attend weekly for 2 hours for group reflection and 4-5 days per week of about 30 minutes/day on a prayer exercise. Very doable for busy people!

There is no cost for this retreat. Material including the retreat prayer exercises will be provided to the retreatants.

About the facilitator

Fr Tony Lusvardi SJ

Fr Tony grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA).  Before entering the Society, he studied literature and philosophy at the University of Notre Dame (Indiana) and spent two years teaching English for the US Peace Corps in Kazakhstan.  His most important pastoral experience in formation was administering three small parishes on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota during regency.  For the past six years, he has been completing his first license and doctorate in sacramental theology at Sant’ Anselmo in Rome. He has just begun teaching sacramental theology at the Gregorian.  He is grateful to have arrived in Australia (at last!) and for the welcome he has received.
