Ignatian Contemplative Walk | Kings Park | Sat November 15th | 8:15am-11am

  • DNA tower off Forrest Dr Kings Park, WA, 6005 Australia (map)

Join Ignatian Spirituality WA and the eco-spirituality group for a Spring Contemplative Walk through the beautiful grounds of Kings Park. We will start at the DNA tower and walk south for a few hundred metres along a grassy track before crossing Forrest Dr and coming to the Place of Reflection. The walk will be around 1km and there are options for staying on sealed paths as well as on dirt /sandy tracks. Because we are encouraging slow meandering, please don’t think that you will get exercise on this walk! Meeting at the DNA tower in Kings Park at 8:15 to start walking at 8:30am.

Please bring: Water bottle, hat, suncream and protective clothing. A journal and pen is optional. Also bring morning tea to share and a keep cup if you’d like a hot drink. A chair to sit on at the end is also a good idea.

Starting point: Kings Park DNA tower, Near Forrest Drive, Kings Park ( See 11 on the map below)

Parking: There is parking near the DNA tower but limited so a little further on at Botanic Gardens Carpark or at Roe Carpark (See map below) there is additional spaces. Please allow time to park and get to the starting point by 8:15 am.
