‘A New Story’
The world is in crisis, many of the causes of which are fundamentally spiritual.
What we see and hear does not provide a coherent inspiring life-giving story inviting us into deeper relationships with God, others and the natural world.
Drawing on the wisdom of our Christian tradition expressed in the work of Teilhard de Chardin, Hildegard of Bingen, Beatrice Bruteau, Elizabeth Johnson and others we will explore an exciting and inspiring new story – a story expressive of God’s presence in the universe as the creative, transformative, empowering energy of Love.
Presenter: John Auer is an experienced spiritual director and giver of the First and Full Spiritual Exercises, having studied at the Ignatian Spirituality Centre in London. He is a past member of the Australian Ecumenical Council for Spiritual Direction. John leads retreats, workshops and days of reflection on the themes of Contemplative and Ignatian Spirituality.
